Alexa Shaw Biography
Alexa Shaw is a popular American sportscaster who currently works as a host of the Washington Capitals Pre/Postgame shows on NBC Sports. Prior to joining NBC in July 2019, she worked as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports Southwest.
Regarding her schooling, Shaw attended Valencia High School. While there, she began her own YouTube Channel at the age of 17, where she shared her interviews with high-profile athletes. She also interviewed the athletes at 7v7 tournaments, the Army All-American Bowl in Texas, the Elite 11 Finals in California and Oregon, as well as high school CIF SS Championship games.
Later on, Shaw joined Texas Christian University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Broadcasting with a minor in Journalism in December 2018. While at TCU, Alexa was the host of The 817 Show, which highlighted TCU athletes. Moreover, she was an intern at Fox Sports while in college.
