Alexandra Cooper is a renowned American podcaster, radio host, and blogger who is best known as the host of Call Her Daddy after her friend Sofia Franklyn exited the show as her co-host. Call Her Daddy is an advice and comedy podcast created by Cooper. Alexandra attended Pennington High School for her primary education. While in the institution, Cooper joined the women’s soccer team. After showing her excellent skills in soccer, Alexandra landed a scholarship to Boston University. At the University, Cooper played soccer, winning several MCT championships with her team.
While still at the University, Alexandra got interested in creating content and connecting with the audience. In 2016, She got her first media job, working as an anchor for Dirty Water Media. Alexandra met Sofia Franklyn while on a vacation in Texas and the two became friends. As they were discussing people’s relationships on the beach, they drew the crowd’s interest. In 2018, they followed the advice and started a podcast called Call Her Daddy. The show focused on discussing relationships and dating culture. By the end of 2019, the show was at the top of the game, ranking among the most-watched shows in the United States.
However, Cooper, Franklyn, and Portnoy got into a public dispute. As a result, the two best friends seized the recording together and parted ways. Later on, Portnoy offered to pay Alexandra and Sofia $500,000 and give intellectual property for the show to get them back. While Alexandra was open to negotiations with Portnoy, Sofia refuse to take the offer. That is why Alex hosts the podcast alone currently.
