Antonia Bonea Gentry (born September 25, 1998) is a well-known American actress best recognized for her role as Virginia “Ginny” Miller in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021–present). Gentry was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and briefly left to attend Davidson Fine Arts in Augusta, Georgia, for middle and high school.
Her first play performance was an original piece by her mother, Sandra, who has a knack for poetry and art. Attending fine-arts school and fueled by her ambition to perform again, Gentry performed in numerous plays that competed at the regional, state, and national levels by the time she was a senior in high school.
Antonia is thrilled to be returning to Atlanta to study at the prestigious Emory University, where she has been able to obtain many commercial credits as well as substantial Netflix credits before graduating with the Class of 2019.
In addition, Gentry is proud to have been an active leader in Emory’s Rathskellar Comedy Improv troupe and to have performed with Atlanta theater professionals at their own Equity theater in plays like Romeo and Juliet (as Juliet), The Tempest, and others.
Pan’s Labrynth and The Pianist are two movies that have forever transformed her life, and she is looking forward to a productive career after graduating from university. Additionally, aside from acting, Gentry enjoys playing the piano, singing, smothering her pet cat Buttersworth with love, and learning new languages.

In addition, Gentry contributed to the Black Lives Matter movement by writing about her experiences growing up as a biracial youth. She posted an impassioned message on Instagram, urging people to not only acknowledge that racism is an issue in the United States but also to take steps toward eradicating the vice.
Regarding her schooling, Antonio attended the John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, Georgia, where he studied drama. She also studied theatre at Emory University.
She was a member of Emory’s comedy-improv troupe, the Rathskellar Comedy Improv Group. Prior to her graduation in 2019, she balanced acting responsibilities with full-time college studies and part-time employment.
