Chuck Todd is an American journalist well-known for his go-hard reputation as a tireless political reporter, and a keen analyst and translator of Betway politics. Currently, he is the 12th moderator of NBC’s Meet the Press and the host of Meet the Press Now, NBC News Now since 2014.
Todd is also the political director for NBC News. Previously in 2013, he was Chief White House correspondent for NBC and the host of The Daily Rundown on MSNBC, New York. He also serves as NBC News’ on-air political analyst for NBC Nightly News and Today.
Todd is also the author of The Stranger: Barack Obama in the White House (2014) and co-author of How Barack Obama Won: A State-by-State Guide to the Historic 2008 Presidential Election (2009). He is an alumnus of Miami Kilian Senior High School, Kendal, Miami. From George Washington University, Todd graduated with a major in Political Science and a minor in music. However, the Washington D.C. graduate did not earn a degree. Todd is also an avid Miami Hurricanes football fan.
Before kicking off into his political world, Chuck served for the 1992 Senator Thomas Richard Harkin, while in college. Later from 1992 to 2007, he worked as a part-time editor at National Journal’s The Hotline. The journalist was also a frequent guest on political discussion shows like Hardball with Chris Matthews and Inside Politics. He joined NBC News as a political director from The Hotline in March 2007.
