Jay Siltzer is an American journalist who currently works as a morning news anchor and health reporter at WLOS News 13 located in Asheville, North Carolina since joining back in 1999. Previously, Siltzer worked at WVLT-TV in Knoxville, Tennesse serving as a reporter.
Moreover, Jay studied and graduated from a local high school and later got enrolled at Mississippi State University. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Meteorology. In addition, he also went to Lander University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1989. Additionally, he is a member of the American Meteorological Society and holds the AMS Seal of Approval for Television and the AMS Seal of Approval for Radio.
