Jovita Moore is an American news anchor and reporter who worked as an anchor at WSB-TV Action News (ABC-affiliated). She used to broadcast the news at 5,6 and 11 pm. Jovita joined the network in 1998 and has received several Emmy Awards during her years at WSB-TV. Moree attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she received her Master of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bennington College.
Moore started her career as a reporter at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1990. She then worked at WNC-TV in Memphis, Tennessee. Besides, Moore is a busy mom who contributes countless hours to civil associations and non-profit organizations across metro Atlanta. Moreover, she mentors students and sits on several boards of directors. She is a member of the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
