RuPaul Andre Charles, commonly known as RuPaul, is a famous American drag queen, musician, model, and television judge. He is well known for producing, hosting, and judging the reality competition series called RuPaul’s Drag Race. He has won various awards including 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, 3 GLAAD Media Awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards, a Critics’ Choice Television Award, and a Tony Award.
A native of San Diego, California, RuPaul pursued performing arts in Atlanta, Georgia. He lived in New York City, where he turned out to be a famous fixture on the LGBT nightclub scene.
