Siera Santos is an American journalist currently working for FOX 10 News serving as a sports anchor and reporter. She joined Fox Sports in March 2020 and is currently glad to be back in her hometown. Prior to that, she spent almost five years as a sports broadcaster in Chicago.
Santos began her career as a news multimedia journalist in Colorado Springs and made her way to Oklahoma City where she did sports. In addition, she served as a sports anchor and reporter at the CBS duopoly in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, she has received numerous achievements and has earned the distinction of being the first woman to ever win the award for ”Best Television Sports Anchor” from the Broadcast Education Association.
What’s more, Siera attended and graduated from a local high school. She later joined and graduated with honors from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of journalism. She served as the White Sox sideline reporter for the regional sports network NBC Sports Chicago and hosted the station’s nightly flagship show. During her free time, Santos enjoys dancing the bachata, hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, and making margaritas from scratch. Additionally, she is an advocate for animal adoption and sometimes hangs out with her rescue dogs, Inkie and Neil Diamond.
