Adriana Diaz is an American television journalist currently working as CBS News national correspondent based in Chicago. She is also an anchor of the Saturday edition of the “CBS Weekend News,” which broadcasts from CBS News’ Chicago Bureau located on the CBS-owned-and-operated station WBBM-TV.
Previously Adriana was a CBS News’ Asia correspondent based in Beijing. During her time here she used her Mandarin skills to report from China on U.S.-Chinese relations, Chinese politics, science, and culture. Before joining CBS News Adriana reported for Channel One News and hosted Yahoo’s “Trending Now” web show. Before journalism, Diaz was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs.
