Alexandra Cranford is an American meteorologist working at WWL-TV as a weekday meteorologist. She joined the station in 2012 and specializes in forecasting for the New Orleans area and in the tropic. Previously before joining WWL-TV, she worked at various television stations in Monroe and Shreveport where she was hired as a weather forecaster and meteorologist.
Additionally, Alexandra attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a Master of Science in applied meteorology. She also studied at Louisiana State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political communications. Moreover, The American Meteorological Society awarded her with their Certified Broadcast Meteorologist(CBM).
What’s more, Cranford has also worked as an Engineering Apprentice and as a NASA Science in the Naval Research Laboratory’s Office of Oceanography.
