Alexandra Leigh LaForce, commonly known as Allie LaForce, is a famous American Journalist, model, and beauty pageant holder currently working as a reporter for Turner Sports. She is covering the NBA on TNT. Before working at TNT, LaForce was a lead reporter for the SEC college football games. She was both a courtside reporter and a host of We Need to Talk on the CBS Sports Network.
LaForce also worked as a broadcast sports anchor and reporter for Cleaveland, Ohio, FOX affiliate WJW. In 2011, she won an Emmy award for anchoring FOX 8’s Friday Night Touchdown high school football show.LaForce began her career in pageantry in 2005 after winning the Miss Ohio Teen USA. She went to the Miss Teen USA 2005 pageant which was held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to represent Ohio.
In the pageant, LaForce competed in an evening gown, and swimsuit and had the final interview competition. After the run, she was crowned Miss Teen USA 2005 By Shelley Henning, her predecessor. As a result of winning the pageant, LaForce got a one-year modeling contract with Trump Modelling management and a scholarship to the School for Film and Television in New York City.
She as well guest-appeared in the NBC soap operas Passions. As a pageant winner, she made appearances promoting causes such as drug and alcohol awareness. LaForce started her career as a sideline reporter for Sportstime Ohio during the Mid-American Conference’s football season. She was a sideline reporter in the 2011 MAC men’s basketball tournament and OHSAA basketball championships.
After college, LaForce signed with Cleveland’s Fox affiliate, WJW Channel 8 as a sports anchor and a reporter. She replaced Tracy Wolfson as a sideline reporter for the SEC on CBS. She worked for NBA TV during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Later on, she signed a deal with Turner Sports to continue as a sideline reporter for the NBA on TNT and NCAA Tournament.
