Araksya Karapetyan is a renowned Armenian-born American television personality and anchorwoman for the Los Angeles-stationed KTTV FOX11’s Good Day L.A. She attended Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public. She was born on August Communications where she received a degree in, international relations and broadcast journalism.
Karapetyan kicked off her career as an intern at KABC-TV in Los Angeles and also at KFI AM radio in Burbank, California. Previously, she served as an anchor, reporter, and producer at KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, and as a reporter and host at KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to that, she worked as a reporter at CitiCABLE, a government-access cable television channel for the City of Torrance, California. Additionally, Karapetyan is fluent in Armenian and English and is “conversational in Spanish and Russian.
