Ashley Everett is an American dancer and actress. She is best known for being a lead backup dancer and dance captain for Beyonce. Moreover, she has worked with other famous artists including, Usher, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez, and Sean Paul among others.
Everett studied at Juilliard School but dropped out in 2007 at the age of 17 to join The Beyonce Experience Tour. Fortunately, in 2009, at 19 years old, she became the dance captain and has worked with Beyonce in many Tv commercials, and major concert tours, and has further danced in over 20 of her music videos.
What’s more, Everett had a role in the third season of the VH1 series Hit The Floor, which aired in 2015. This greatly expanded her career and she also worked with different famous music artists. She had other major performances with Beyonce including, the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, the 2016 Super Bowl 50 halftime show, and Coachella 2018 among others.
Later, Beyonce announced The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, in which Ashley was to perform as the head captain for 132 shows. She also appeared in six videos from Beyonce’s self-titled visual album, including a leading role in ”Heaven.” Aside from dancing and acting, she has also appeared on television networks such as Fox 32 and WCIU-TV for interviews and also teaching news anchors some dance moves.
