Briana Conner is an award winning journalist who currently serves as the ABC13 reporter and anchor. Conner joined the in June 2021. She began her career in Victoria, Texas, and most recently covered the Triad community in North Carolina. During her tenure, Briana covered local and national events like NCAA March Madness, the Panthers Super Bowl run in 2016 and Hurricane Florence
Moreover, she covered the 2016 and 2020 elections, the massacre at Mother Emmanuel AME Church, and the subsequent removal of the Confederate Flag from the South Carolina State House. Behind the scenes, Briana continues a close relationship with her alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin. She was a member of the UT Pom Squad during her time there and continues dancing now in her spare time.
She also dedicates much of her time to community and board service. Previously, Briana served as the Vice Chair of the Winston-Salem Urban League, and she was an advisory board member for the chamber of commerce.
