Candace McCowan is an American journalist. Currently, she anchors WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on weekends and reports across metro Atlanta on Channel 2 Action News during the week. Candace has been part of the WSB-TV Family since July 2022. Previously McCowan worked at WFLA, the NBC affiliate in Tampa, as a political reporter and anchor.
McCowan has covered numerous incidents including the pandemic from the epicenter in the United States. She covered protests and rioting after the death of George Floyd. During the Battle for the country’s largest swing state, Candace interviewed now-president Donald J. Trump, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and many others.
