Meteorologist

Jorge Torres is an American meteorologist who currently serves as the weekday afternoon meteorologist on ABC15. He joined the ABC15 team in October 2019, but is quite familiar with weather coverage throughout the desert southwest. Jorge has been in the broadcast meteorology industry for more than 10 years, starting his professional career in El Paso, Texas at KVIA-TV.

Iris Hermosillo is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist currently serving as the weekday meteorologist on ABC15 Mornings. She joined the ABC15 Forecasters team in December 2012 after spending several years covering severe weather in the Midwest.

Abigail Degler is an American meteorologist currently working as a weekend morning meteorologist at WZJ-TV/CBS Baltimore. She joined the station in October 2022. She describes herself as a small-town gal with a big midwestern heart.

Meg McNamara is an American meteorologist currently working at WJZ/CBS Baltimore. She joined WJZ’s First Alert Weather team in June 2017. Meg has been captivating audiences since she was 7 years old. Her early shows were broadcast from the family living room, with her 4-year-old brother, her co-anchor.

Marty Bass is an American television news personality and weather man for CBS-owned WJZ 13 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the star of WJZ at 9’s “Where’s Marty?” segment, as well as a fixture of First Alert Weather team. 

Derek Beasley is an American meteorologist currently working at WJZ/CBS Baltimore. He joined the WJZ First Alert Weather Team in March 2022. He was promoted in March 2023 to become WJZ’s first-ever Chief Meteorologist.

Steve Sosna is an American meteorologist who currently works at WJZ/CBS Baltimore. He joined the WJZ First Alert Weather Team in March of 2023. Sosna forecasts weekend evenings and he also fills in during the week on all of the various WJZ weekday daypart newscasts.
