Dana Bash is an American journalist and a news anchor. Currently she is CNN’s chief political correspondent and co-anchor of State of the Union with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, the network’s Sunday morning newsmaker show. It was announced in April 2023, that Dana would succeed John King as solo anchor of Inside Politics.

Bash launched her CNN series, Being…, in 2021,which goes beyond her Sunday morning news making interviews. The series features extensively conversations with individuals affecting American policy, politics, and culture. It also gives viewers an understanding of the human being behind the public face.

Before that Bash had launched her digital CNN series, Badass Women of Washington in 2017. The series is to highlight women from a wide range of backgrounds and generations. It also to shows then how they have shattered glass ceilings on their way up the ranks.

Dana joined CNN as a producer of their weekend programs after college. These programs includes Late Edition, Evans & Novak, and Inside Politics.
