She has been working in the station since joining in September 2003. Previously, she worked at KSEE-TV 24 where she served as a TV News Anchor and reporter from 1990 to 2003.
Gil grew up on a walnut orchard in Fresno, California, where she helped her grandfather on the farm and raised pigs and sheep. She started her career at KTSM-TV in Texas before relocating to Central California in 1990 to join KSEE-TV 24.
