Eboni Deon is an American meteorologist who currently works for WSB-TV as a weekend morning meteorologist in Atlanta Georgia. Deon joined the Severe Weather Team 2 as a weekend morning meteorologist in December 2018. Eboni is thrilled to be back in Atlanta where she lived for nearly 10 years working at The Weather Channel and CNN International.
Previously, Deon was a meteorologist for WFTV-TV in Orlando. Prior to joining Weather Channel, Deon has also been a radio broadcast meteorologist for the Weather Channel Radio Network. Before joining the Weather Channel, Eboni was a broadcast meteorologist at the National Weather Networks in Jackson, Mississippi.
Eboni also spent time doing weather reports for CNN International. In 2013 she started doing the weather on Al Jazeera America on weekends. She also did part-time in the morning as a fill-in for chief meteorologist Nichole Mitchell when she was on reserve duty. On December 9, 2014, it was announced that Deon had joined WISH-TV in her hometown of Indianapolis as the weekend evening meteorologist. She returned to WFTV-TV in January 2017.
Deon began her career in Jackson, Mississippi, at the National Weather Networks. Later she to become a radio broadcast meteorologist for The Weather Channel Radio Network. Soon afterward, she became an on-camera meteorologist at The Weather Channel.
