KUSA is an NBC-affiliated television station licensed to Denver, Colorado. She joined the station in August 2020 as a traffic anchor on Mile Mornings. Previously before joining the station, she worked as a traffic anchor and reporter for WBMA, Abc 3340 News in Birmingham, Alabama.
Additionally, Erica attended and graduated from a local high school in her hometown and later joined Townson University in Towson, Maryland. She later graduated from the institution with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. While at Channel 9 news, Lopez anchors traffic every weekday from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Prior to joining 3340 News, she was working in Charleston, South Carolina where she started her journalism career.
