Guy Brown Biography
Guy Brown is a renowned American meteorologist who currently serves as the morning meteorologist on KARE 11 Sunrise. He joined the station in September of 2020. Previously, Brown worked as a weekend meteorologist for WKOW TV in Madison, Wisconsin.
Before that, he was the evening weather anchor at CBS News Channel 5-KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming. While there, he covered blizzards, tornadoes, wildfires, and Chinook winds. Brown was born and raised in Washington, DC. He began his career at ABC 7, WJLA TV, in September 2015. During his tenure there, he earned the respect of the team as a hardworking news production assistant.
Regarding his schooling, Guy attended the College of Southern Maryland, where he received an associate’s degree in general sciences. Furthermore, he attended Towson University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media and Film and Broadcast Meteorology.
Moreover, Brown enrolled at Mississippi State University, where he received a certificate in broadcast meteorology. Brown interned at WHUR 96.3 FM HD1 in the Washington, DC metro area.
