Jamie Little is a renowned American pit reporter for NASCAR coverage on Fox. She was born on April 9, 1978. Little is a previous pit reporter for ESPN/ABC’s coverage of the Indy Racing League. However, she returned to her pit reporting duty for the 2007 and 2008 Indianapolis 500, the 2013 Firestone 550, and NASCAR on ESPN. Jamie joined ESPN in 1998 and covered the winter as well as the summer X Games.
Little is best known in the motocross and extreme sports communities for her work as a pit reporter for ESPN’s Motoworld. She received the 2008 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race by 0.324 seconds over Craftsman Truck Series champion Mike Skinner. Little confirmed on her website that she would be covering the Snowmobile Motocross event at the Winter X Games in January 2010. On New Year’s Eve, it was also confirmed that she would reprise her hosting responsibilities for ESPN’s second annual New Year, No Limits special.
On September 25, 2014, it was reported that Little would join Fox Sports as a pit reporter for NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races beginning in January 2015. Little was announced as the lead play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports’ coverage of the ARCA Menards Series on November 16, 2020. She is the first female lead television play-by-play announcer for a major racing event.
