Jesse Pagan Bio
Jesse Pagan an American award-winning journalist currently serving as an evening anchor for KFMB-TV in San Diego, California. She joins Marcella Lee in the evenings, anchoring The Ten O’Clock News on the CW San Diego and CBS8.
Pagan has earned two Edward R. Murrow Awards and accolades from the Associated Press over his six-year career. Prior to joining NEWS 8, Jesse worked as an anchor and investigative reporter at WSYX-TV, in Columbus, Ohio. While at News 8 her reporting led to state-wide policy changes in the unemployment system, which came under heavy pressure from Ohioans as the COVID-19 pandemic forced a record-number of workers out of their jobs.
Before heading to Columbus, Jesse was a reporter at WBBH-TV, in Fort Myers, Florida—his home state. There, Jesse’s reporting drew attention to severe droughts, pushing the city to establish a million-dollar water reservoir project. Jesse’s reporting in two fast-paced breaking news situations led to him and his team earning the Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in Breaking News.
Additionally, Jesse also worked alongside network correspondents and producers, interning at ABC News’ World News Tonight with David Muir, right after college.
