Kayla Braxton originally known as Kayla Becker is an American sports broadcaster who got signed by WWE. She previously reported for WESH 2 News. Earlier when she was nine years old, her mother was sent to prison and she grew up in a foster home. Braxton grew up participating in public speaking competitions. She later graduated from Belmont University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Six months after her graduation, Braxton began hosting her own entertainment web and TV segment in the top 20 television market in Orlando, Florida. Later in 2016, she signed with the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. Braxton appeared on her first pay-per-view as a backstage interviewer during Backlash on May 21, 2017.
While working as a ring announcer on NXT, Kayla appeared on Raw, 205 Live, and SmackDown where she would act as a ring announcer and backstage interviewer. On August 17, 2019, she permanently left NXT and was replaced by Alicia Taylor. To date, Braxton is a backstage interviewer on SmackDown and co-host of The Bump. She has also been the host of Talking Smack alongside Paul Heyman
