Kellie Cowan is an American award-winning journalist currently working at FOX13 News, Tampa, Florida, as a multimedia journalist and reporter. She joined the station in February 2016. Prior to joining the station, Kellie for CNY Central serving as a news and sports reporter.
Additionally, she also worked in Syracuse, where she served as a news and sports reporter and was recognized annually by the Syracuse Press Club for her news, sports, and spot news coverage. Moreover, Cowan began her journalism career in September 2009, in the sports world, covering teams both Comcast Sportsnet Washington, D.C. and Syracuse, N.Y. before switching over to the news.
Furthermore, Kellie attended the College of William where she graduated proudly with a bachelor of arts in German and International/Global studies in 2006. Later she also attended Georgetown University where she earned her master’s degree in Sports Industry Management in 2010. Besides loving sports, she enjoys the challenges and unique stories she gets to tackle in the news and is excited to be able to be a fan once again.
