Before joining WGN-TV, she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KMOV in St. Louis, Missouri. Davis was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn, where she attended Glenbard West High School. Later on, she joined the University of Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Psychology.
