Kelsey Kushner is an American Emmy award-winning journalist . Currently she works at WJZ/CBS Baltimore where she anchors the Saturday and Sunday evening newscasts and reports weekdays for the 11 pm Newscast. Kelsey joined the WJZ Team in January 2019.
However since she joined her current station she has covered everything from crime in Baltimore City to the Cockeysville Manhunt and the Pikesville Gas Explosion. Prior to Baltimore, Kelsey worked in Fort Myers Florida for CBS affiliate WINK News. During her two years at WINK, Kelsey covered major stories such as the Parkland School Shooting, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Michael, the FIU Pedestrian Bridge Collapse, the serial mail bomber and Florida’s election re-count.
Furthermore, she covered Florida’s water crisis and interviewed Erin Brockovich (about it). Additionally, Kelsey was awarded “AP Breaking News Reporter” for her coverage of Hurricane Irma.
