Laura Rodríguez is a renowned American journalist and a television news personality presently working as a reporter at WTVJ an NBC affiliate television station in Miami, Florida. Previously, she worked at CBS 58, in Milwaukee as a general assignment reporter. Rodriguez graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy and Conchita Espinosa Academy in Miami. Later on, she moved to Northwestern University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. While still at the university, she founded the first Spanish-language newscast. It was part of the award-winning Northwestern News Network team.
In addition, Rodríguez earned a scholarship award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She has also received an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
