Lauren Green is a well-known American journalist who currently serves as the Chief Religion Correspondent for Fox News based in the New York bureau. She joined FNC in 1996. Previously Lauren was a headline anchor giving weekday updates at the top and bottom of the hour during the morning television show Fox & Friends.
She has also appeared as a guest panelist on Fox’s late-night satire show Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. She is the first African-American Miss Minnesota. Prior to joining FNC, Green served as a weekend news anchor and correspondent at WBBM-TV (CBS-2) in Chicago, IL. From 1988 to 1993, she was a general assignment reporter at KSTP-TV (ABC-5) in St. Paul, Minnesota.
