Letitia Perry Biography
Letitia Perry is an American journalist who is currently working as a co-anchor for WHIO-TV on the weekdays and Noon News. She has been in the station since joining in April 2001. Prior to joining WHIO-TV, Letitia worked at WROU 92.1 FM from January 1996 to April 2001. Additionally, she was also a radio producer and hos High t of NPR’s Morning Edition.
Perry attended high school at Meadowdale High School and graduated after her senior year. Later, she enrolled at Central Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts double-majored in Broadcast/Cinematic Arts and Journalism. In addition, while in her final year in college, Letitia joined the staff of the CMU Public Broadcasting Center serving the Central, and Northern portions of Michigan.
Furthermore, previously before she joined WROU 92.1FM, Perry worked at Columbus Bd. of Education or WCBE Public Radio from January 1992 to September 1995. She also worked alongside several committees and boards as well as quite a number of programs all across Miami Valley.
Moreover, currently Perry serves as an anchor during weeknights at 11 p.m. at WHIO-TV in Dayton. She has worked as a General Assignment Reporter, as well as a News Anchor for the 21 years she’s been there. The most memorable stories she has covered include the September 11th Terror Attacks, the Oregon District Shootings, the Memorial Day Tornado Outbreak, and the Coronavirus Pandemic.
