Lucy Bustamante is an American journalist currently working as a morning news anchor for NBC10 and a breaking news anchor for Telemundo62. She joined the station in September 2018. Prior to joining NBC10, Bustamante served as the weekday morning and noon anchor at WVEC-TV based in Norfolk, Virginia.
Furthermore, Lucy went to Cabrini High School in New Orleans. While there, she volunteered at the now-closed Cabrini Convent for retired nuns in Radnor Township, Delaware County which acted as a nursing home for the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. Later she joined Loyola University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. She also worked at WVXX-FM as a daily weekday morning news anchor for La Selecta 103.3. This is a Spanish-language radio station.
