Maria Quiban is an American meteorologist currently working as the weather anchor for KTTV in Los Angeles, California. She accepted employment as the weather anchor/meteorologist for KTTV in 2000. She currently gives the daily weather forecast on Good Day LA and FOX 11 Morning News from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. In 2005, she earned a B.S. in meteorology from Mississippi State University via correspondence courses.
Prior to joining FOX 11, Maria spent two years as the weather anchor for the daily 5, 6, 9, and 11 p.m. newscasts for OCN (Orange County News Channel). Before that, she was the evening meteorologist for NBC Hawaii News 8 in Honolulu, HI.
Besides her professional career as a meteorologist Quiban has appeared in a number of television shows and films playing a reporter. Some of these shows includes Bruce Almighty, Cold Case, Everybody Hates Chris, Criminal Minds and Ryan’s Mystery Playdate.
