Michelle Relerford is an American journalist currently serving as the Weekday Morning Co-Anchor for NBC 5 News Today. Relerford joined NBC 5 News in September of 2011 as a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor. Since joining NBC 5, she has traveled back to Cleveland to report on the discovery of three missing girls found captive in a home after more than a decade.
Additionally, she traveled to Montgomery, Alabama when former U.S. Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. was released from federal prison. In 2016, Michelle became a Weekend Evening Anchor. She’s received two Emmy nominations for her reporting in Chicago.
