Randy Shaver is a renowned American journalist who currently works as the evening news co-anchor for KRAE 11 at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. alongside Julie Nelson since 2012. He joined the station in 1983 as a sports reporter. From 1994 to 2012, Shaver served as the sports director at KARE 11. He received a regional and a national Edward R. Murrow award in 2006 for sports reporting. Moreover, he was excited to be inducted into the Minnesota Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2004. Randy is also a member of the Cedar Rapids Jefferson Hall of Fame in football and in track.
Shaver is the host of The Rush Creek Golf Club Randy Shaver Celebrity Golf Classic, helping the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
