Ruth Wignall, born Ruth Elizabeth Dodsworth, is a renowned British broadcaster, journalist, and weather presenter, currently working at ITV Cymru Wales. She also worked for the regional radio station Nation Radio as a co-presenter for the breakfast show. Wignall began her career in radio, working as a researcher for BBC Radio Wales in the mid-1990s. In June 1996, she joined ITV Cymru Wales to train as a news reporter and a presenter. Later on, she switched to becoming a weather presenter in 2000.
In addition, Wignall presented a wide range of local programs, including The Ferret, Grassroots, the Royal Welsh Show, the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Wales This Week, Little Piece of Paradise, and the Bafta-nominated Coast and Country.
