As for her education, Sheryl attended North Miami Beach High School and graduated in 1987 and ranked ninth in her class. She later enrolled at Harvard University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She was also the recipient of the John H. Williams Prize for the top graduating student in economics. Later, she earned an MBA with highest distinction from Harvard Business School.
After completing her education, Sandberg worked in various roles in the government and non-profit sectors. She served as the Chief of Staff for the United States Secretary of the Treasury, Lawrence Summers, during the Clinton administration. Additionally, she was an economist at the World Bank, where she worked on healthcare projects in India and served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.
