Furthermore, Ramos graduated from Fordham University but also joined Lona College where she graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Communications and Media Studies. Prior to joining ABC News, she worked for KMBC-TV in Kansas City, MO as a news reporter and anchor. Her work there was particularly notable for her coverage of immigrant children caught crossing from Mexico to the United States.
