Sterling Poulson is an American Meteorologist currently working with KUTV 2 News where she serves as a Chief Meteorologist. He anchors the weather at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. Monday to Friday. Additionally, he has worked as a weather anchor and producer for the 2News team since 1989.
Furthermore, Poulson went to the University of Utah and earned a degree in meteorology. He also spent his time with the US Air Force and he was assigned to the National Emergency Command Aircraft, 1st Airborne Command Squadron in direct support of ”Air Force One” at Andrews AFB, Maryland. Moreover, Sterling was a severe Storms Forecaster and was assigned to the Air Force Global Weather Center, and also provided aviation forecasts in support of the Airforce and Department of Defense missions worldwide.
Additionally, besides work, he is involved as a Music Director and Founder of The Choral Arts Society of Utah where he conducts as many as six concerts annually with the 120-voice choir. In addition, Poulson serves on the board of the Clark Planetarium and also chairs the board of the West Valley Symphony of Utah.
