Steve Daniels is an American Emmy award-winning journalist presently working as a news anchor at ABC 11/WTVD. He anchors exclusively from the Breaking News Center, the coverage of Breaking News, and the ABC 11 Eye witness News on weeknights at 10p.m on CW22. Moreover, Daniels anchors on weekdays at 5p.m, 6p.m, and 11p,m on ABC 11 Eyewitness News.
Daniels is a graduate of the Univerisity of Missouri School of Journalism. Currently, he works as an investigative reporter for ABC11 News. Previously, he worked for Dateline NBC as a correspondent where he interviewed newsmakers and reported stories for the national magazine. Daniels has also shown up on CNBC, the “NBC Nightly News” show, and MSNBC.
In addition, he worked at WTVJ in Miami working as a senior Investigative Reporter and a weekday anchor from 5p.m to 5:30 pm. In December 2007, news state legislation prohibited school bus drivers from using cell phones while driving. This was a result of Steve’s Investigative report “Dialing While Driving” The investigation revealed school bus drivers talking on their phones while driving school buses full of students.
