Tom Sizemore Biography
Tom Sizemore is an American actor known for his supporting roles in Born on the Fourth of July of 1989, Harley Davidson, and the Marlboro Man of 1991 among others. He was also cast in the revival series, Twin Peaks of 2017, and voiced Sonny Forelli in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City of 2002.
Sizemore grew up idolizing the tough guy characters of the movies he watched. He attended Wayne States University and got his master’s degree in theatre from Temple University in 1986. One of his earliest film performances was in Oliver Stone’s Born on the Fourth of July of 1989. His other early roles included Lock Up in 1989, Natural Born Killers in 1994, and Strange Days in 1995 among others.
Moreover, he starred in the independent drama film Love Is Like That of 1993 with actress and model Pamela Gidley. He also performed in Heart and Soul in 1993 and was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. Additionally, he went on to appear in five episodes of the television series Crash of 2008 to 2009 with Dennis Hopper and the comedy film Super Capers 2009.
In January 2022, Tom joined the cast of The Legend of Jack and Diane, a feature film described as a female-fronted revenge thriller directed and written by Bruce Bellocchi. Besides movies, he also fronted the Hollywood rock band Day 8 formed in 2002. The band recorded a four-song EP produced and recorded by Bradley Dujmovic and former Snot or Soulfly guitarist Mike Doling.
