Yasmin Vossoughian is an American television journalist who currently serves as a weekend news anchor on MSNBC. She previously co-anchored “Morning Joe First Look,” also on MSNBC, at 5 a.m. on weekdays. Prior to joining MSNBC she was employed by the CNN organization as a correspondent on the channel HLN.
Yasmin joined HLN in May, 2014 as a correspondent. During her time she covered a variety of beats including entertainment and breaking news. Before she joined HLN, she was a host and producer for a live news and entertainment program at AOL.
Previously, Vossoughian served as a reporter for the local New York City cable news channel NY1. Her accomplishments include on-site coverage of Hurricane Sandy’s devastation and as one of the first reporting teams to broadcast from the severely hit borough of Staten Island.
