Abby Eden Biography
Abby Eden is a renowned American journalist currently serving as an anchor of the FOX4 News Morning Show from Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 9. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Eden had the news bug since she was a small girl, always watching the local and international news, and studying anchors and reporters.
Eden followed her thirst to be a reporter at the University of Missouri in Columbia. While at college, she participated in various student leader organizations like the Homecoming Steering Committee, and the Honor Society: Omicron Delta Kappa, and was also a Summer Welcome Leader. Eden served at KOMU through the University of Missouri, learning every aspect of the job from photography and editing to producing and anchoring.
She as well interned at a non-profit organization in Buenos Ares, Argentina. Eden’s first job as a reporter was in Tyler, Texas. She produced and anchored the weekend news in Tyler and reported for the evening newscasts in both Longview and Tyler. During her tenure there, Eden covered everything from hurricanes to crime. After spending three and half years in Texas, she returned to the Midwest and to FOX4. She began as a Multimedia Journalist working mainly in Lawrence, Kansas.

Afterward, Eden was an anchor of the 10 p.m. news along with Phil Witt for almost 6 years. After tying the knot, Eden made a transition to the Morning show to spend more time with her new husband. She garnered various awards for her work in journalism including an Emma, a Barbara Jordan Media Award, several Emmy nominations, a MORE Award, an NLGJA award, and an Edward R. Murrow Regional Award.
Eden’s passion is telling stories that can positively influence people’s lives through education and investigation. When she is not working, Eden likes to spend time with her husband, Tyler, and their Australian Shepherd called Milo, as well as their Hemingway cat, Dallas. Moreover, Eden is a marathoner and half marathoner. Mostly, you will find her running or working out at lots of locally-operated gyms.
