Amanda Holly is an American Meteorologist currently working at WFLA News Channel 8 in Tampa, F1. She joined the station in June 2019. Previously, she worked for the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network and the University of Florida Weather Centrum in Gainsville, Florida.
Moreover, Holly went to the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. She also earned a Certificate in meteorology and climate science degree. She later attended and graduated with a Master of Science in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University. While growing up, Holly experienced the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons in Sarasota, which were terrifying and inspiring at the same time.
