He currently serves as an Evening Meteorologist at KUSI-TV based in San Diego, California. However, he was fired a couple of times at the WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he gained prominence.
What’s more, Mathis was formerly the Chief Meteorologist for KREX on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains in Grand Junction, Colorado. In addition, he graduated with his BBA in Marketing and Broadcasting from Baylor University. He launched his broadcasting career in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina before Advancing to WCIV in Charleston.
