Anne-Marie Green is an American journalist. Currently, she is serving as an anchor for CBS News Streaming Network, CBS News’ premier 24/7 anchored streaming news service, and a correspondent for CBS News contributing to all CBS News broadcasts and platforms. Green joined CBS News in January 2013.
Previously, Green served as a general assignment reporter at CBS 3 in Philadelphia. She reported for both CBS 3 and The CW Philly and co-anchored CBS 3’s weekend morning newscasts. Green joined KYW-TV (CBS 3) in October 2004 as a general assignment reporter and also a co-anchor for Sunday morning newscasts alongside Ben Simoneau.
In 2007 Green was awarded the Doris Haire Award for her reporting on the growing concern over the high number of C-sections being performed in New Jersey. She also received a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2011 for coverage of a fatal duck boat crash in the Schuylkill River.
Green began her career as a reporter for CKVR-TV in Barrie and at Rogers Cable News in Mississauga, both located in Ontario. She was a news anchor in Toronto beginning in June 2001 with CITY-TV and also anchored at CablePulse 24, a 24-hour cable news channel servicing the greater Toronto area.
