Dave Osterberg Biography
Dave Osterberg is a popular American meteorologist and cohost of FOX 13’s popular morning show, Good Day Tampa Bay. He joined the FOX 13 family in March 2004. He started his broadcasting career at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Dave’s native home is Warwick Rhode Island where he studied and graduated from a local high school. Later, he attended the University of Rhode Island where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. What’s more, he also graduated from the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University. He later began his career at WDTV before moving to KATC-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he was voted ”Bets Weathercaster in South Louisiana.”
Osterberg also moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he worked for seven years. Additionally, due to his outstanding work, the American Meteorological Society awarded him with the CBM seal of approval. Recently, he reported the very dangerous Tropical Storm Elsa.
