Jayne Secker is an English journalist and newsreader for Sky News. She has worked for Sky News serving as an anchor since September 2014, alongside Colin Brazier. However, she officially joined the station in 2002 and served as a foreign correspondent, frequently reporting from war zones which included the Middle East for 10 years.
Secker attended and graduated from Westfield School and following her A levels, she undertook a degree course in film and media at the University of Stirling. While there. she edited student newspapers and completed an internship with BBC Radio Newcastle and after graduating she became an assigned BBC trainee in 1996.
Later in 2002 she joined Sky News and spent 10 years as a foreign correspondent, frequently reporting from war zones including the Middle East. Sky News is a British free-to-air television news channel and organization. It started broadcasting at 6 pm on 5 February 1989. It is distributed through a radio news service and online media. Most importantly, Sky News is available internationally on cable systems, on satellite, and in some hotels.
