Monica Madeja is an American journalist who currently works at NBC10 Boston and NECN serving as a general assignment reporter and fill-in-anchor. She joined the team in June 2015. Previously, she worked at WDEL 1150 AM where she worked for a couple of months and then left to join KRCG serving as a morning anchor and reporter.
Madeja later left KRCG to join WBRE-TV, where she became a host of programs such as ”A Little Love” featured on children up for adoption in Pennsylvania, and ”Buddy Check” series on the fight against breast cancer. Currently, she has covered some of the most impactful stories in Boston, including snowstorms, the Boston Marathon and Super Bowl LII, and across the country reporting from Las Vegas after the nation’s largest mass shooting.
In addition, Monica is a proud graduate of Temple University. After graduation, she began her television career as a reporter and anchor at KRCG in Missouri and also got behind a professional mic as a radio reporter and anchor in Delaware. What’s more, volunteering has always been a passion and she values working with a mentor program for youth impacted by foster care.
