Jorja Roman is an American anchor and reporter currently working for Bay NEWS 9 since joining in May 2018. Prior to joining the station, she worked as a news assistant for Time Warner Cable News in Albany, New York. Additionally, Roman also anchors Your Morning News alongside Erica Riggins.
Jorja attended the University of Albany, Suny, and later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Journalism and Related Programs. Furthermore, her journalism career began in 2015 at Spectrum News in Albany, New York. While there, she reported extensively on the opioid epidemic in Upstate New York. In addition, she also collaborated with the Spectrum News team on a documentary about the effects of heroin addiction on families and communities.
