Kerry Charles is an American weeknight anchor at NBC4. He joined the station after working as an anchor in Atlanta. Prior to that, he had worked for seven years as an anchor at Greensboro. Kerry also produced and reported in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Shreveport, LA.
Charles attended Columbus City School and graduated from Linden-Mckinley High School. He then studied communication at the University of Cincinnati. His interest in broadcasting started at a young age while attending Crestview Middle School where he became the host of kids’ sundae. He was also an anchor at Kids News Network, where the program aired every Saturday morning.
Charles believes in giving back to the community. When he is not visiting with his local students, Kerry is busy serving on boards for St. Stephens Community House and the Neighborhood Design Center. He is also a member of the Morehouse College of Ministers and Laity 2018
